It’s a beautiful experience as a yoga teacher to connect with others regardless of their beliefs, ethnicity, gender, age, or body constitution. Yoga means oneness, unity, and balance; there is no simple definition to describe it. Sanskrit mantras have a nourishing effect, are calming, and are healing. I started chanting the 12 Surya Namaskar mantras in my classes.

It is lovely to see how people resonate with the mantras; everyone flows from one position to another and is in sync. Physical exercise becomes a meditative and calming experience.
