It’s a wonderful experience as a yoga teacher to connect with others regardless of their beliefs, ethnicity, gender, age or body constitution. Yoga means oneness, unity also balance, there is no simple definition to describe it. Sanskrit mantras have a nourishing effect, they are calming also healing. I started to chant the 12 Surya Namaskar mantras in my classes. Lovely to see how people resonate with the mantras, everyone flows from one position to the next and all are in sync. Physical exercise becomes a meditative and calming experience.
